Cashmere and Lambswool Story
Our cashmere and lambswool range are produced in the Inner Mongolia region.
We have chosen cashmere and lambswool because they are a natural fibre, durable and can last seasons after seasons. Unlike polyester, cashmere and wool are the master of thermal regulations. They trap body heat, prevent clamminess, generates warm, and blocks convection.
What is cashmere
Unlike petroleum-based polyesters which merely trap heat against the skin, cashmere and lambswool are masters of thermal regulation. They operate through a complex hygroscopic process: trapping pockets of dead air within their natural crimp to insulate, while simultaneously absorbing moisture vapour to prevent clamminess. This creates a breathable microclimate that generates subtle heat when damp and blocks cold convection, ensuring comfort across shifting seasons.
The legendary lore of cashmere is a result of microscopic precision. With a fiber diameter often measuring less than 15 microns, cashmere exists below the threshold of human tactile perception—meaning the nerve endings in the skin cannot detect individual fibers. This results in a sensation of weightless, silk-like warmth that is entirely free of irritation.
What is lambswool
While cashmere provides this ethereal softness, our Lambswool offers a structural, downy resilience. Harvested from the very first shearing, these fibers possess tapered ends, providing a bouncier, more substantial feel that remains exceptionally gentle against the skin. These are not seasonal purchases, but enduring investments in natural engineering feat that designed by evolution to be treasured for a lifetime.
